Event Policy

Proposals for events are approved by the group during general meetings (Sundays at 5 p.m.), on a case-by case basis with emphasis on the purpose and inclusiveness of the event. Priority is given to events that further the social goals of the space (opposition to all forms of prejudice, bigotry and oppression), as well as those that are both accessible and welcoming to a wide range of people. To propose an event, fill out the events form and bring it to a Sunday meeting, or submit it to a 123 volunteer in order to have them present it at the meeting. It is best to attend the meeting where your event will be discussed in order to answer any questions that may arise.

You're invited to a pancake breakfast to benefit the123 Community Space on Saturday July 19th!

123 needs you to come and help support the only anarchist community space in all of Brooklyn! Saturday we'll be having a pancake breakfast to raise a bit of money to help pay our rent, so that we can continue to host all of our current programs, and continue to add new ones. If you've never been by, or haven't been by in a while, this is a great chance to see what's new at 123(including our beautiful backyard patio!)

$5 will get you all you can eat homemade pancakes(vegan and not), plus cold cereal, fresh fruit, and more. Come enjoy a scrumptious breakfast with friends and family while giving back to your neighborhood!
